Hannah Calder is a UK-born novelist who lives on unceded Syilx Okanagan territory in Vernon, B.C. She earned her MA in English Literature in 2004 from Simon Fraser University.  She is the author of three novels: More House (2009), Piranesi's Figures (2016), and Hester in Sunlight (2024).  She has also published poetry and fiction in West Coast Line, The Capilano Review and dANDelion. After many years teaching English and Creative Writing in post-secondary institutions, she recently opened an expressive writing business, Writing for All (website coming soon!) ​
